The Book:
Survey Research Survival Guide
While the Practical Surveys blog is great for articles, it's essentially a set of frequently asked questions.
For those of you who want a more comprehensive perspective, I'm writing a book called The Survey Research Survival Guide. This is a pragmatic guide for beginners and self-taught surveyors, covering the process from business issue to risk assessment, with spots along the way to pause and work on your own project.
If this book interests you, let me know—I'd love to hear about your experience with surveys and what types of projects you do. The more people I hear from, the more hours per week I allot to writing, and the better I can speak to you in the text. In the meantime, the words continue to accumulate, and I will post updates to this page and in the newsletter.
