Visitors to Query Group Sites
It's your contact information, and you have the right to use it as you wish.
Information Collected
Following are the types of information collected through the www.QueryGroup.com and www.PracticalSurveys.com sites, as well as through surveys conducted by Query Group, Inc. which may be hosted using third party services.
Information collected for use in aggregate analysis of Web site traffic:
- IP addresses
- Browser, operating system, and similar computer information
Personally identifiable information including names and contact information is collected through forms and surveys. As the use of that data will vary from instance to instance, details will be provided where the information is collected.
When posting to the Practical Surveys blog or other public forum managed by Query Group, it is the poster's responsibility to make appropriate choices in their profile to achieve their desired level of privacy.
Cookies may be used at times, but only to facilitate the data collection indicated above. Query Group does not use cookies to store personally identifiable information for future use unless you specifically request the site do so via a "Remember me" setting.
Third Parties
Query Group may use third party vendors to execute its newsletter mailings, survey hosting, blog hosting, and other functions. These vendors are selected for compatible privacy practices. Contact information will not be released to any other parties (with the exception of law enforcement if needed).
Survey Invitations for Clients
At times, Query Group will send e-mail survey invitations on behalf of clients. Client contact lists are used only for the purposes of their study.
Query Group only sends to opt-in customer and member lists, as well as employee and student groups on behalf of their employer or school. If you feel you have been contacted via a list which was not opt-in, please forward the message you received to postmaster@querygroup.com.
